Some candidates may have circumstances that require or allow them to progress at a faster pace than our standard cohorts. These candidates might be interested in paying a $500 acceleration fee to expedite their progress compared to their admitted cohort. However, it's important to note that the acceleration fee does not guarantee that you will complete the program faster.
Calendar and Deadlines
Our certification path requires you to participate in one of four cohort options with the due dates below. Due to the requirement of two semesters of intern teaching, the cohorts differ in the number of months. All cohorts require the same amount of coursework hours. It is only the pace of the coursework completion that changes. The Spring and Summer Cohort takes the longest to complete and is designed to accommodate those who will be actively teaching (such as under a DOI plan) before their internship begins.
